MANILA, Philippines - Two Cirque du Soleil musicians will hold a benefit concert for the street children of Malate, Manila on Tuesday, more than a month after "Varekai" was first held at the Rizal Park across the Quirino Grandstand.

Titled "La Musique du Coeur" (Music from the Heart), the concert is dedicated to charitable foundation Sun For All Children. It will be held at 8 p.m. on July 19 at the Grand Lobby of the Manila Hotel.

Tickets are priced at P500 each and are consumable.

Manila Hotel, which has a partnership with Cirque du Soleil, said the concert is the latter's way of "giving back" after many Filipinos watched "Varekai," which will run in Manila until July 24.

"La Musique du Coeur" will feature Vuk Krakovic on violin and Roger Hewett on piano. They will be play classical pieces by Beethoven, Sarasate, John Williams, Vivaldi and more with the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music String Ensemble.

Krakovic has been working with "Varekai" since 2004 and has toured over 70 cities worldwide.

Hewett, meanwhile, started to play professionally at age 16 and has since performed internationally, including touring as part of Cirque du Soleil.
